The PA/DE NAWGJ State Governing Board is up for election. The term of these positions is from August 1, 2021 until July 31, 2023. The attachments contain the State Governing Board Application Form, eligibility requirements, and duties of the State Governing Board. Please make sure you review the requirements and duties for these offices. The list of positions up for election as well as job descriptions are listed below. Voting for any contested positions will begin July 1 and end July 15.

Financial Assistant (1 position)

• Reviews all financial quarterly reports
• Assist with Special Fundraiser Reports
• Must be competent in Google Docs
• Record and keep records for educational gift certificates
• Volunteer at the PA/DE Judges Cup

Assistant Western Assigner (1 position)

• Assigns judges in Western PA for league and invitational meets
• Keep record of number of meets assigned and number of judges assigned for end of the year report
• Assist SJD when necessary for state assignments
• Coordinates meet schedule in Western PA
• Volunteer at PA/DE Judges Cup or Western Critique Clinic

Assistant Eastern/Central Assigner (2 positions)

• Assigns judges in Eastern/Central PA for league and invitational meets
• Keep record of number of meets assigned and number of judges assigned for end of the year report
• Assist SJD when necessary for state assignments
• Coordinates meet schedule in Eastern/Central PA
• Volunteer at PA/DE Judges Cup

Educational Chair (1 position)

• Keep judges updated on any rule changes
• Answer questions concerning rules
• Clarify rules with Region 7 RTC as necessary
• Organize clinics – secures clinicians, works with SJD on clinic schedules, etc.
• Volunteer at PA/DE Judges Cup

CPE/PA Judges Cup Coordinator (1 position)

• Keep record of CPE credits for judges
• Send list to USAG office at required time
• Coordinates the PA Judges Cup with Judges Cup Director and SJD – secures facility, sessions, age groups, awards, gifts, etc.
• Volunteer at PA/DE Judges Cup

Western Critique Coordinator (1 position)

• Secure facility
• Organize schedule
• Coordinate schedule with SJD
• Complete financial report following the event
• Volunteer at Western Critique Clinic

Secretary/Webmaster (1 position)

• Record minutes at board meetings
• Keep the website up to date on a regular basis
• Helps with communication to membership and keep running track of updates as they are sent out
• Volunteer at PA/DE Judges Cup

Judges Cup Director (1 position)

• Responsible for all pre-planning of Judges Cup (secure facility, advertise meet, take registrations, finalize schedule, etc.) with approval of SJD and Judges Cup Coordinator
• Coordinates responsibilities with parents club of host gym, gym owner, and meet director
• Works with SJD to coordinate judging volunteers throughout the meet weekend
• Complete financial report following the event
• Volunteer at PA/DE Judges Cup
